Course description
The MPL to CPL conversion course is a flexible course that can be tailored to align with your schedule.
ACADEMIC STUDIES
- Technical course(s) for the C172 and DA42.
- Briefings
- Skill test preparation (oral exam).
FLIGHT TRAINING
Option 1 - C172 and DA42 program
- 10 hours of C172.
- 5 hours of DA42.
Option 2 - DA42 program
- 15 hours of DA42.
The two options above are minimum hours as per the EASA regulations. Additional training might be required and will come in addition to the course price.
Pre-entry requirements
To enroll in this course you must meet the following pre-entry requirements:
- EASA MPL certificate.
- Valid Instrument Rating (IR).
- Hour requirements:
- 70 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) of which;
- A minimum of 10 hours must be PIC and;
- Up to 60 hours can be PICUS.
- 70 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) of which;
- 20 hours VFR cross country as PIC (of which 10 can be PICUS).
- 1 cross country flight as PIC which needs to be more than 300 NM and 2 full-stop landings at different airports.
